Electronic Structure of Mott Insulators Studied by Inelastic X-ray Scattering


  The structure of energy gap in a parent compound of high temperature superconductors has been obtained by resonant inelastic X-ray scattering (Cooperative work with Stanford Univ., Bell Lab, and Iowa State Univ.). The result was published in Science (Vol.288, p.1811), and reported in the Kahoku-Shimpo and the Sankei Shinbun (June 10).
