We seek a candidate in the field of Crystal Chemistry, IMR, to work with Professor Miho Yamauchi (scheduled to assume her position on October 1, 2026). The candidate is expected to demonstrate strong motivation and the ability to explore novel phenomena in material and energy transformations and mass transport, and to actively advance the development of nanomaterials and composite interfaces.

Experimental research, analysis, paper writing, student guidance and education.

Qualifications

Applicant must hold a PhD degree, or must be expected to receive a PhD degree before employment.

Employment status

Full-time, Discretionary Working System for Professional Work, Non‐tenured: 7 years (possibility of extension up to 3 years after reappointment review)
