Research Field and Desired Researcher 

The successful candidate will work closely with Distinguished Professor Hao Chen and other members of the Institute for Materials Research (IMR), Tohoku University, engaging in research activities on structural metallic materials. Therefore, we are seeking a highly motivated individual who can conduct research on the control of microstructural and various properties of structural metallic materials such as steels, across the nano- to macro-scale.

This recruitment is part of a project under the “University for International Research Excellence”, for which Tohoku University has been recognized as the first certified institution in Japan.

Applicant must hold a PhD degree.
