In Nov. 13, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology; MEXT formally certifies Global Institute for Materials Research Tohoku (GIMRT) of IMR as "the International Joint Usage / Research Center" in Materials Science. International Joint Usage / Research Center is the new extension of the domestic Inter-University Joint Usage / Research of Japan.
We welcome worldwide users to perform the collaboration researches by using advanced facilities, instruments and knowledge of IMR.
