Frontiers in Ab initio Many-Body Interactions (FAMBI 2026) is an international workshop to be held at the Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University. The workshop will focus on theories, methods, and numerical implementations for describing many-body interactions from first principles, covering state-of-the-art topics in computational materials science such as electronic correlations, electron–phonon interactions, excitons, magnons, and transport phenomena. Bringing together leading researchers from Japan and abroad, FAMBI 2026 will provide an opportunity to share the latest research findings and discuss future directions in the field. The workshop also welcomes active participation from early-career researchers and students, and aims to offer them an opportunity for international research exchange.
