On December 10, 2024, researchers from the International Joint Unit ELyTMaX visited IMR.
ELyTMaX (Engineering Science Lyon-Tohoku for Materials and Systems under Extreme Conditions) is an International Research Laboratory established as a collaboration between CNRS (France), Université de Lyon (France), and Tohoku University (Japan). The laboratory focuses on the study of materials and systems under extreme conditions.
The researchers toured the Honda Memorial Room/Exhibition Room, Non-Equilibrium Materials Research Laboratory, Microstructure Design of Structural Metallic Materials Research Laboratory and the High Field Laboratory for Superconducting Materials at IMR.
