Lab tour | International Joint Graduate Program on Materials Science: GP-MS (11/7)

IMR hosted the participants in "Kick-off symposium on International Joint Graduate Program on Materials Science" and had a lab tour on November 7th, 2018. 

International Joint Graduate Program on Materials Science (GP-MS) aims to offer opportunities to study leading research and technologies in the world in order to develop researchers and engineers capable of leading innovations in global material science and engaging powerfully with the international community by bringing together faculties in material science that are a part of the strength of this university, and by establishing a collaborative supervising system that utilizes international collaborative studies.

The program is being scheduled to start in April, 2019. This tour was organized as a part of the kick off symposium held from November 5 to 7.

They visited Deformation Processing DivisionHonda Memorial Room/Exhibition RoomHigh Field Laboratory for Superconducting Materials, and Center for Computational Materials Science. At the end of the tour, they actively exchanged opinions with the Director Koki Takanashi.
