We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic and motivated to engage in basic and applied research in metallurgy—including non-equilibrium alloys produced by rapid solidification, high-entropy alloys, and dealloying materials—using experimental and computational approaches.

Qualifications

Applicant must hold a PhD degree, or must be expected to receive a PhD degree before employment.

Employment status

Full-time, Discretionary Working System for Professional Work, Non‐tenured: 7 years (possibility of extension up to March 31, 2036 after reappointment review)
