Research Field and Desired Researcher 

The candidate should have a strong track record in basic research on materials characterization by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) including various spectrometry techniques such as X-ray energy dispersive spectrometry (XEDS) and electron energy-loss spectrometry (EELS), and experience in development of aberration-corrections and quantitative spectrometry analysis approaches. In addition, the candidate should be willing to work on basic and applied research on materials characterization by TEM in the future. Especially, the candidate has been experienced on or is interested in studies on grain boundaries and interphase interfaces in metals/alloys and/or ceramics materials.
