Development of new theories in the formation and control of microstructures, mechanical high performance, and the creation of new functions through a complementary combination of process design, such as thermomechanical treatment, and alloy design, focusing on iron and steel related structural materials.

Full time, Tenured (by the end of fiscal year (March) when one reaches 65 years old)
Compensation pursuant to regulation of Tohoku University
