| Research field and Desired researcher | PCoMS Project invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher working with Dr. Hayato Shiba at IMR, Tohoku University. The successful candidate is going to carry out simulation studies aiming at materials design for electrolyte liquids, soft matter electrolyte systems and ionic liquids, with application to tribology and rheology. His/her are also expected to develop advanced methods for large-scale classical molecular dynamics and coarse-grained simulations. |

Ph. D degree in the field of physics, chemistry, or materials science. |

At the earliest possible after July, 2016. |
| Employment status |
Full-time The contract needs to be renewed every fiscal year, which starts on April 1, and may possibly be extended up to March 31, 2020. The applicant will be hired as a member of PCoMS project, which is built as a consortium in the field of computational science establishing partnerships between IMR at Tohoku Univ., ISSP at Univ. of Tokyo, IMS at NINS, and INSD at Osaka University, aiming at fostering next generation researchers. |
