In order to develop and promote the academic exchange and research cooperation in materials science and technology, both sides set up the DUT-IMR Research Center in DUT on Oct. 7, 2005. The center is to conduct the conjunct research project and to nurture and develop the talents of young scientists in materials society.

　Tohoku University and Pukyong National University established a bilaterali collaboration center on 20th May 2009 in order to make a platform for collaborative research, and education in the interested area of both universities. We established this collaboration center for the Tohoku University side in Institute for Material Research.
